So, You Want an App?

We are asked quite often what the first step is in the Mobile Application Development process. Basically, where do you begin? 

We really enjoy helping our clients develop their app idea into a working product. There are many things to consider before beginning development, such as which devices would you like your app to function on, will there be any integration with social media, do you have the graphics already completed or do you need that provided for you, and the list goes on. We have been through the development process many, many times and can take you through it having you come out the other side with your sanity intact!

We will discover through detailed discussions with you, as much as we can about your app idea, of course only after signing a non-disclosure agreement so you know your idea is protected. After these initial meetings (live and in person or through Skype, conference calls, etc) we will know exactly what features you want in your app, and will know exactly the scope of your project. We give you a fixed price and a fixed timeline to develop your Mobile App. You will know when your app will be finished and how much it will cost. 

Something everyone asks is “What happens once the app goes live”? We are there to make sure everything is running smoothly and can be there for ongoing support if you would like. One thing to remember is all income from your app sales belongs to you. We have nothing to do with the promotion and sale of your mobile app and never see a penny from it. We aren’t involved at all with the income you can receive from your app sales. That will be ongoing income for you. Not for us. 

Now, this is just a very basic beginning to the mobile application development process, but hopefully it answers a few questions about how we do things and can get your idea wheels turning! Like our logo, the humble dandelion, one little seed of an idea can become something huge, spread, grow and plant more seeds. Mobile apps are like that. One of those mobile apps can be yours.
