Making a Difference
We are a Mobile Application Development company.
We want to grow our business.
We want to help our clients grow their business with a great mobile app.
We want to help our team by providing them with a job they love.
We want to make a difference.
We have the ability to help others by hiring, training, inspiring, leading, and hopefully spur them onto doing the same in their circles of influence. This past week we have had the pleasure of connecting with many people from a wide variety of professions. The conversations have led to new partnerships, opportunities, ideas, and future possibilities. It is so exciting to see how we can help others and I know those whom we connected with recently feel the same. Great things lie ahead…today and in the days to come!
You always want to operate in your strengths and hire or delegate to someone to cover your weaknesses. Wait a second, wasn’t this post about making a difference? Yes, and recognizing your areas of strength and weakness are the starting point. You can’t make a difference to those around you, if you aren’t set on a firm foundation with strong roots grown into your own core strengths. Frankly speaking, when you understand what you are good at and what you are not good at, you can reach out to others, make valuable connections, highlight what you and they are best at, and move forward in a mutually beneficial way. These are the best kind of relationships! You use your talents, skills, and knowledge to help someone, and they give the same back to you. This allows growth, personally and professionally, and the spill over from all these positive interactions is intellectually and emotionally moving to yourself and to other people. When you focus on your strengths, and allow others to focus on theirs as well, the weaknesses don’t matter.
We want to make a difference in the daily interactions we have through twitter, blogging, emails, phone calls and face to face conversations.
We want to engage people and leave them understanding what our strengths are and have them know, we understand and appreciate their strengths as well.
We want to positively impact our world by offering our clients the best in Mobile Application Development and in turn, they can grow their business. Then they can hire, train, inspire, and lead their team and others around them.
We want to make a difference.
Just an hour in and by 9:30PM last night, almost every social medium online was abuzz with the terrible news, with 1,905 blog posts, 3,836 online news articles, 1,483 forum posts, and over 570,414 tweets. Numbers continued to rise as the news spread and the world both fell asleep and awoke to the sadness. Keywords surrounding Jobs’ passing had also moved from conversation central to the release of the iPhone 4S, and onto more timely and emotional chatter related to his death. The Week in Review!
This week has been wonderfully busy and creative. Just the way we like it!
We wrapped up helping a customer that needed our full attention over the weekend. They are now back up and running, and we were glad to have the expertise they needed. So much coding has been done, on so many projects this week, and our own latest mobile app project is nearing the testing phase. We couldn’t be more excited about it and that it is nearing it’s launch!
The Appcelerator Codestrong Conference in San Francisco is this month and we are excited to attend. We will have fun, do lots of networking, learning, idea sharing and have a lot to share with you when we return! Stay up to date here and @fuzzywhitetech on twitter for the up-to-the-minute Codestrong scoop!
We’ve been busy laying the ground work to update our web site, and that new site should be finished soon, having a better layout, navigation, and information. All the better for our clients! Laying groundwork of a different kind has been done through emails, Skype and conference calls, allowing us to meet potential clients, and other entrepreneurs. We’ve really enjoyed meeting and re-connecting with so many incredible people this past week.
We have a lot of plans underway for connecting with you through social media and we have no doubt you will be hearing and seeing more from us in the days, weeks and months ahead. We hope your week was as productive, creative, and fantastic as our was!
